Charlie Chaplin has always been a huge source of inspiration for me. In this video, I pay tribute to the greatest silent movie star of that era by performing my take of the famous dance of the bread rolls. Enjoy.

why do guys...

why do guys...
suddenly pop up out of the blue with txt msgs, phone calls, emails --asking what you are up too? and somewhat insinuating that they want to get together and do something...sometimes they plaine out say it (after revealing that they lost your number and can you give it back to him?) and then when you reply... you never hear back from them. they mysteriously disappear into an unknown vortex or a 3dimmention until a few months later, maybe a year later they will resurface. as if nothing happened.

are aliens randomnly abducting these guys once they reach out to you?

are they falling off the face of the planet as soon as they finish contacting you?

are they all Batman?

is there a big "if you are a penis owner" convention somewhere hidden at the core center of the earth were they all get together in secrecy and talk about who they just contacted and poofed on?

do they forget how to use phones, computers, and communication skills and scientists are working on a cure?

i don't know. why do guys do that? pop up out of the blue to say hey, and when you start showing the slightest interest into saying hey back even if you know they are probably wasting your time like they have in the past you think --but he took the initiative to contact ME. so maybe you should give him a chance right?...then poof.

it could be a simple exchange in txt msgs, emails, phone calls, or hell you may make that initial contact: coffee, movie, whatever..maybe start seeing each other again and then suddenly just when you think things are going well...he seems to have a higher calling and you will not hear back from him for a while. am i missing something? did i not get the memo for what was so damn important that you must cease all communication for an undetermined period of time?

i've also noticed that july seems to be a big month for "the sudden pop ups".

XF: IWTB

alright, i will admit to being a huge avid and perhaps above average fan (in some cases less, trust me) of the x-files. the upcoming release of xf:iwtb has been on my mind more then important vital life issues like: my future, love life (even my imaginary one with Johnny Depp), job, home, car door, vacations, condos, greece, wanting to be a working/successful actress, making movies, writing scripts, desperate need of new underwear and summer clothes, a much needed magical way of getting a tan...etc

and i gotta say that i have been spending an unhealty amount of time on the xfu msg board (the best one!). as much as the fact that it's so exciting to see the xf msg boards and online community alive and very vibrant in 2008, the occupants also seem to be more dangerous than fox mulder on a mission for the truth about the movie's plot and spoilers.

since december, unexplicable phenomons about plot secrets have been revealed to us online (call sheets , character/actor/production decoy names, locations, filmed scenes ...etc)

a spoiler here and there...was great. especially since FOX is doing such a shit job with the marketing of this thing.

but a few days ago, someone posted a detailed description of the entire movie's content on the boards. wether they are fact or fiction remains to be seen but something tells me this is the real deal. needless to say, i completely regret reading the damn spoilers and now hope that the movie will be something other then what has been leaked.

1) i don't want to feel like i've already seen the movie ... so much for that christmas morning present feeling, Chris..i didn't just shake the box, i went to aunt gossip and she told me what was in it and it's not entirely what i wanted this year.
2) rumors have it that the movie is relationship m/s intense and plot light. please god let that be faulse for obvious reasons. m/s can be their intense relationships selves but if this movie is lacking a good xf plot...i will throw my pop corn on the floor and say "you sir did NOT nail it!"
3) mulder spoons scully when he has that fugly caveman beard. nuff said.

all in all, i just feel like people should keep their mouths and typing fingers cut off when it comes to revealing so much detail of something right before it is out. sure i could of chosen not to look, but honestly, i wasn't expecting a full on detailed description. and i am weak. very weak. i feel like mulder. i have seen the truth after seaking it for so long and being obssessed with it since i knew it was "out there" but now i want to keep it to myself until THE day comes because it may be too much for the general public the handle. or it may incite them to see batman 3 more times over xf once.

i'd like to hear what xf fans think about this whole situation?

until then...11 days left. let's hope it will all be worth it in the end.

but then what am i gonna do with my time??

Celebrity Blogs

The internet today is more entertaining than TV and on some cases even movies.

What do you guys think about Celebrity Blogs, Myspace pages, Facebooks... etc etc

Why do we add them to our friend lists, comment on their blogs and on their various myspace type pages?

We all know most of them simply have these pages as a marketing tool so that they can plug their current projects (music, movies, shows..etc..etc)

We also know that most of their pages are run by their little mingions and that the celebrity in question will rarely even visit the page nor will they take the time to read the 100 comments per minute that are posted. there is even less of a chance that they will reply to any of these said comments which have been sent to them by adoring fans.

Sure some celebs are active in the internet world and their blogs are genuine but the marketing aspect of it is always present.

i am just curious to hear about what people have to say about this new tool that wants to make us feel closer to our favorite celebs but at the sam time, all it really does is plug hollywood's projects and give you a new form of faulse hope that yes, celebs will take the time away from their busy schedule to personaly interact with you.

has anyone out there ever gotten a comment response on myspace by a celebrity?
why do you add them to your friend list?
why do you read their blogs and write to them?

i have a few celebs on my myspace friend list, and enjoy reading their blogs. i comment back and hope to get some sort of response within the sea of comments that they receive. i have yet to feel that special. i do it because even if i know that the chances are improbable, i somewhat always hope that someone i have admired in movies, tv or music will take notice of lil ol me and say hello.
